Embedded World is the largest even for embedded developers in Europe.
This year it will be from February 28th to March 1st.
Microchip and Olimex will have promotion at Embedded world and will give away 1000 pcs free PIC32-PINGUINO-MX220 development boards.
Pinguino is easy to use and program board in Arduino format and accepts all Arduino shields, it also have the Olimex’s own UEXT connector which allow interfacing to all Olimex UEXT modules (for more info http://www.olimex.com/dev/OTHER/UEXT.pdf ).
PIC32-PINGUINO-MX220 is with the new PIC32MX220F032D microcontroller from Microchip with 32KB Flash, 8KB RAM, 40MHz MIPS32 M4K core, USB OTG and exceed the normal Arduino UNO based on ATMega328 as processor power.
The PIC32-PINGUINO-MX220 board is supported by Pinguino IDE (http://www.pinguino.cc) and several applications like Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity will be demonstrated at Embedded world.
If you are going to visit Embedded world pass by Microchip boot and take your free Pinguino board.
Alas, I’m in India!
I’m not going to Embeded world 2012, can I still get one?
Pinguino….
Muahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Well, seems like the people from Microchip did not know about that deal… I asked at the desk, but they have not any idea about such a tool that is given out for free…..
At least, a Pinguino board was shown in a vitrine….
