A13-OLinuXino software resources and A13-SDK

A13-SDK is 2.3GB tar file which contain Android ICS and Linux 3.x kernel sources. You can download it from https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B-bAEPML8fwldWIzY29GNDJ2ZW8

We ship all A13-OLinuXino-WIFI-DEV with pre-installed Android image and will upload on GitHub step by step instructions how you can upload to your NAND new image.

Preliminary Linux “how to” is at https://github.com/hehopmajieh/olinuxino-a13/ and another great source for A1x resources is at http://linux-sunxi.org/Main_Page

yes you can do this you can load the NAND flash with your own image of Android or Linux Kernel
Dimitar Gamishev is preparing small how-to install Linux distribution on A13-OLinuXino and we are preparing Android build and loading to NAND flash instructions which we will post when ready

Thanks for your reply. Yea by custom ROM i meant android custom image. I have read in a post that android uses ‘init..rc’ file, which is intended to provide the machine-specific initialization instructions. Can you bring in some clarification about that.

You mentioned updating the wiki with instructions to flash a new image to NAND – do you have an estimate on when those instructions will be available?

    Hi,
Can A13-SDK 2.3GB tar:: Will run on other A13 tablets?
Instead of flash on NAND, can this work on SD card?
