Weekend Programming Challenge – Week #26 – Solutions

Image

We got 23 solutions:

  • C   6
  • C#  4
  • Python   2
  • Scheme   2
  • Haskell   2
  • Prolog   1
  • Scala   1
  • AWK   1
  • Pascal   1
  • D   1
  • Erlang   1
  • C++11   1

It’s cool that we got solutions in so many languages, Erlang, D, Haskell are totally unknown for me so I can get impression about them looking at the solutions.

All solutions are at GitHub as usual https://github.com/OLIMEX/WPC/tree/master/ISSUE-26

    The line#92 in solution 17 must be corrected: if( get_coords( NP, &argv[1], points) == false ){ puts(“Input error”); return(1); }

    If I’m not mistaken, #17 will “make a square” out of every point-set consisting of 1 center-point, 2 points on a circle of radius r around it and the last one on a circle of r2 = sqrt(2*r^2), which needn’t be a square? Please correct me if I’m wrong🙂

    Greetings,
