STM32-P405 is based on our popular STM32-P103 board but we use now STM32F405RGT6 Cortex-M4 processor with 1MB Flash and 192K of RAM running at 168Mhz.

What about Cortex-R4 processors? Dual processor in lockstep mode could make an interesting industrial-grade microcontroller board. Texas Instruments has a similar board (the Hercules) but it’s for evaluation, not SOM.

Under “Features” on the Olimex product web pages for both the STM32-P405 and the STM32-405STK it says, “…up to 72Mhz operation”. I believe it should say, “…up to 168Mhz operation”.
