Weekend Programming Challenge – Week #39 CRC-16



Cyclic Redundancy Check is error detecting  code used in serial devices to detect accidental errors in the input data.

Make code which calculates CRC-16.

The rules:

You can code the solution in any programming language during the weekend and have to submit it to info@olimex.com latest on Sunday January 12th.

On Monday we will upload the solutions on GitHub https://github.com/OLIMEX/WPC

    Hello, I ve just spent 4 hours on coding an “unwrap” version for adruino/avr and after some testing I realized that the _crc16_update which is in util/crc16.h is extremly well optimized, I m afraid they cant be other winners, I let it to you guys!
