The above says “Here is Debian image for A13-OLinuXino-LIME with Kernel 3.4.90+”, but the text is for A10

It is a shame that zerofree was not used on the partition in the image before posting. It would have reduced the size of the 7z fine by about 60%

Good stuff, but why didn’t you compile support for USB sound cards into the kernel? Since it has no audio connectors, and USB sound cards can provide better sound quality than the A10, it would be very useful to have this support out of the box. This would allow for cheap internet radios and stuff like that.

I’m trying to compile a kernel now, but it would be nice to see this as a standard feature in future distributions. Maybe you could also provide a kernel with USB sound card support for the a10_Lime_debian_3.4.90_release_3.img.7z?

Using this and other blog posts in this site, I was able to document a way to setup Slackware ARM 14.1 on the OLinuXino A10 Lime: http://www.malaya-digital.org/setting-up-slackware-arm-14-1-on-the-olinuxino-a10-lime-from-scratch/

    make[3]: *** [arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm/standby/standby.elf] Error 1
/home/mateusz/a10_kernel/linux-sunxi/arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm/Makefile:8: recipe for target ‘arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm/standby/standby.bin’ failed
    make[2]: *** [arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm/standby/standby.bin] Error 2
scripts/Makefile.build:443: recipe for target ‘arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm’ failed
    make[1]: *** [arch/arm/plat-sunxi/pm] Error 2
Makefile:947: recipe for target ‘arch/arm/plat-sunxi’ failed
    make: *** [arch/arm/plat-sunxi] Error 2
