Tuxcon is non for profit organization run by volunteers, with goal to promote open source technology in Plovdiv.
Once per year this organization make Tuxcon conference, but this year they didn’t stop with just this event.
In May they made with the help of Smarty Kids workshop for kids, where introduction to programming of Arduino and ESP8266 boards was present :
TuxCon 2018 was in June and had so many proposals for talks this year, that the two halls couldn’t accommodate them all.
So in July one separate event for Home automation was made with Miroslav Petrov.
Miroslav talked about Domoticz and how to install it on A20-OLinuXino-MICRO:
Special tanks to the good people from Siteground for hosting this event.
This event attracted many people not only from Plovdiv:
For those who didn’t manage to come here is the Miroslav’s workshop web page.
What I hear is that the success of these events encourage the Tuxcon organizers to think about to make such every month 🙂 Keep the good work!
